The protection and health of our visitors* and employees* is our top priority. Therefore, we ensure strict compliance with all prescribed and recommended hygiene and safety standards. We also ask you to take our rules and measures into account when visiting the museum - only together can we create a safe visiting atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you!

General Rules Expand Box
  • When visiting the museum, the 2-G rule (vaccinated and/or recovered) applies to all visitors. Please provide evidence that you have been vaccinated or have recovered.

  • In addition, FFP2 masks are obligatory for all visitors to the museum (except outdoor area, provided that the 2-metre distance can be maintained).
    (Mouth-nose protection is compulsory for people from the age of 6 up to the age of 14 and an FFP2 mask is compulsory for people from the age of 14.
    The Corona Test Pass/"Ninja Pass" is equivalent to a 2G certificate for pupils with general compulsory school attendance, provided that all test intervals have been complied with).

The Kunsthaus Graz includes a parking garage by Kastner & Öhler department store underneath the building (access via Lendkai). Our museums in downtown Graz are located within walking distance. Furthermore, downtown Graz provides a variety of additional parking garages at different rates. Accessibility

The entrance to the museum on the Herrengasse is easily accessible and a newly fitted lift provides access to the exhibition areas for all visitors. The route around the inside areas provides step-free access. The upper floors contain wooden panels from old ships. They have been worn away over centuries and therefore they are uneven in a few places. A disabled access toilet is available on the ground floor. It is accessible via a ramp (7% gradient) – assistance may be required.
