Temple of rain

Try to uncover the mystery of the Maya civilisation. How did the Maya try to appease the gods to bring rain? H.I.G.G.S. would like to work with you to find out if it is even possible to influence the weather with just a bit of support from the Mayan gods.

Our history

In June 2016, the Ecsite Annual Conference (ECSITE, the European Network of Science Centres and Museums) took place in Graz. This highly successful conference was what ultimately sparked the idea of jointly implementing a science centre in Graz. As a result, FRida & freD - Das Grazer Kindermuseum and the Universalmuseum Joanneum jointly developed and realised the CoSA.
Since 19.10.2019 CoSA is open to all curious people from 12 years up!
