at the Peter Rosegger Birthplace & Museum

Here you will find information on accessibility at the Peter Rosegger Birthplace & Museum at a glance.

The Rosegger Museum Krieglach is not accessible for wheelchair users with or without assistance, for people with limited mobility and blind people, or for visitors with visual impairments.

Due to its hillside location and for reasons of monument protection, the Rosegger Birthplace Alpl is not accessible for wheelchair users with or without assistance, for people with limited mobility and blind people as well as for visitors with visual impairments. 

We would also like to point out that the Rosegger Birthplace is located at 1,200 m above sea level and can only be reached via a footpath (forest road). The walking time is approx. 30 minutes. Access by private car is not permitted. Wheelchair users can be transported by taxi, but the museum does not cover the costs.
