Event
A diverse programme of activities invites you to participate in open, participatory stations and tours at the Kunsthaus!
Would you like to sing karaoke with Radio Helsinki and MIKRO? Or listen to concerts by the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz under the motto ‘Let it out!’?
Or would you rather build a paradise together with others in the Needle?
Be there, because all this will be MIKROtopia!
In addition, there will be tours of the current exhibitions and the special architecture of the Kunsthaus Graz.

Can you hear the call that breaks through the walls? - political voices in the 20th century

This programme brings together works that amplify the power of the voice as a tool of resistance, justice and change. Through the presentation of pieces rooted in historical, social and political contexts – from Eisler's resistance to inequality and oppression to Nono's homage to Djamila Boupacha – political repression and liberation are explored.

After the final concert in the ‘Lass es raus’ concert series at Kunsthaus Graz, the space will be open for discussion. What touched and surprised you? What was it like to sing at Kunsthaus Graz? In a relaxed atmosphere, the audience and artists will engage in conversation – openly, unfiltered, honestly. With a glass of mimosa in hand, we will bring the concert series to a close together!

Artist İlkin Beste Çırak invites us to reimagine the world – not as it is, but as it could be. What does this utopia look like? How does it smell? What do we do there? How do we build spaces when we are completely free to express ourselves? This workshop at Needle invites you to experiment, fantasise and create together. Let's create a small urban paradise together – a miniature world of togetherness, rethinking and radical hope.
Tip: Feel free to bring your own objects to design with!
