Book presentation and talk Milica Tomić. On Love Afterwards 

In her artistic practice, Milica Tomić explores themes such as political violence, socio-economic asymmetries, courage and solidarity from different angles. She deciphers historical events linked to the political and social reality of former Yugoslavia whilst aligning those with contemporary circumstances.

Following the exhibition in Kunsthauswith a bit of delay, the book Milica Tomić. On Love Afterwards was published in August this year. The two curators, Andreja Hribernik and Irena Borić, along with author, curator and researcher Jelena Petrović, will be in conversation with the artist about the genesis of the exhibition and the book in the context of Tomić’s artistic practice and current socio-political challenges.
