Storytelling Café at Rosegger-Museum

Children’s songs and memories of learning language stay with many people throughout their lives—often deeply embedded in their memories. 

This storytelling café is dedicated to the language of childhood: singing, listening, and playing with words. Which songs were sung? Which words were misunderstood—and perhaps still haven’t been fully “set straight” to this day?

Through intergenerational exchange, a vivid picture emerges of how children perceive and shape language. The storytelling café provides a space for cheerful, surprising, and even touching memories.

The series consists of five sessions, each focusing on a different theme. You can attend individual sessions or all of them.
