Outer Spaces brings together exhibitions in 2027 that explore space, time, and perception. Artistic positions investigate the relationship between humans and the universe, challenge familiar notions, and open up new perspectives on the world and beyond.
Talks, guided tours, workshops and other events accompany the Kunsthaus Graz programme. They invite visitors to engage with the exhibitions, exchange ideas and discover new perspectives.
What happens when you look at the world from a different perspective?
Horizons of Perception invites you to rethink familiar questions and look beyond the boundaries of the known. As part of the annual programme Outer Spaces, this monthly series brings art, philosophy, physics and the humanities into dialogue.
Each session focuses on a particular term or concept, bringing together different perspectives and opening up new connections between art and science.
The series takes place once a month at Kunsthaus Graz. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. The programme features short talks and open discussions.
In collaboration with the University of Graz | Institute of Physics, Department of Philosophy, and the interdisciplinary research focus Perception: Episteme, Aesthetics, Politics.
