The highly allergenic weed ragweed, nemesis of an anthropogenically triggered nature, proliferates globally in the wake of the Anthropocene and late capitalism. In landscapes of ruin, the embodiment of the "natural law" of endless growth transforms into ragweed. Ragweed rages beyond Cassandra's warnings, brings retrotopias, furiously burrows through social, temporal, and ideological layers, the unabashed antagonist of the delicate seedling of growth.
