Expanded Garden by Markus Jeschaunig is conceived as a research prototype for climate-responsible construction and as a space for exchange and reflection.
As part of the installation, the Institute of Architectural Technology at Graz University of Technology and the Kunsthaus Graz invite visitors to tour the installation and actively participate in a scientific perception experiment on inner-city cooling. Visitors are invited to share their own sensory impressions of the experimental climate installation during a two-hour workshop.
On July 25 and August 1, scientific measurements will take place in the Expanded Garden. The study will examine how the installation provides technical cooling and, at the same time, what effect the microclimate has on people’s physical perception.
In a sensory, relaxing, and collaborative workshop format—led and facilitated by Maria-Theresia Puzzo and Markus Jeschaunig—participants can experience the installation in a unique way.
Registration is requested.
The workshop lasts approximately 2 hours.
Limited number of participants, max. 15 people
