About the
Project

An article of the Declaration of Human Rights from this year's Strobl poster cycle by Iris Andraschek reflects into the city via the BIX Media Facade of the Kunsthaus Graz.

Further information

Thanks to the City of Graz, the Mayor's Office, Kulturvermittlung Steiermark and the Strobl family.

Due to the particular relevance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights this year, we would like to point out its importance and non-negotiability in the spirit of Amnesty International.

A selected article from this year's Strobl poster cycle by Iris Andraschek, who designs five articles from the Declaration of Human Rights every year and makes them visible in Graz around December 10, will therefore also shine into the city via the BIX media façade of the Kunsthaus.

"The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was written with great foresight after the great catastrophe of the Second World War. The articles of this declaration are meant for you, for me and also for all those whose rights are restricted. Human rights apply to people. We should not forget what this means, especially in times when refugees are once again being held up at borders and forced to wait in cold tents." - Katrin Bucher Trantow

Therefore: Let's celebrate human rights - especially now!
