Through a social media campaign, Graz residents are encouraged to look for nature in the city of Graz and share it as an Instagram story with the Kunsthaus account. The current status of all collected photos can always be seen on the BIX Media Facade in the evening - each public account can share one story per day. After the project is completed, a tree will be planted in the city for every 50th photo in collaboration with the Department of Green Spaces and Waters of the City of Graz.
About the cooperation
The project is the result of a cooperation between Energie Graz, the HTBLVA Ortweinschule and the Kunsthaus Graz. At the beginning of the year, the 4th year students of the Film and Multimedia Art department were invited to get to know the Kunsthaus Graz and its media facade.
From February 2022, the students and their teachers Joachim Dietze and Jona Hoier repeatedly moved their lessons to the Kunsthaus in order to collectively research the BIX communication medium and develop new projects.
