BIX Media Facade: Vital Signs

On the BIX media façade of the Kunsthaus Graz, a quote by the author Nava Ebrahimi is displayed. As a statement in the urban space, it draws attention to questions of perception, identity, and social sensitivity – becoming a visible “vital sign,” a marker of our present moment.

The intervention is part of the exhibition “Vital Signs”, which brings contemporary art into the public space of Graz. In collaboration between the Kunsthaus Graz and the Elevate Festival, with support from the Institut für Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Steiermark, eleven artistic positions are presented on culture boards, in vacant spaces, on façades, and on lampposts throughout the city.
