Folk Life Museum
The Folklife and Folk Art Museum is located in the former Capuchin monastery from the early 17th century at the foot of the Schloßberg in the Paulustorgasse. It contains the oldest and most extensive collection of folklore in Styria. In an area of 1.000 square metres, the newly laid out building offers deep insights into Styrian culture and lifestyle in pre-industrial times. Features such as an original smoke kitchen and the "Stöcklsaal" have been integrated into the upto-date museum concept.
