Since October 2003, the Kunsthaus Graz - lovingly called "Friendly Alien" by its creators Peter Cook and Colin Fournier - has been attracting visitors with its spectacular architecture and fascinating exhibitions of contemporary art. The absolute highlight of a visit to the Kunsthaus is the Needle: this glass viewing platform offers a fantastic view over the old town of Graz.
