Double-barrelled volley gun

Amongst the oldest weapons in the armoury are three double-barrelled volley guns dating from the end of the 15th century. Volley guns are weapons, which have two or more barrels attached to one single gun; this increased the distance that could be covered by the load and thus strengthened the firepower of the weapon.
