Diversity of Live
Under the title "Diversity of Life", SHOWING STYRIA 2023 dealed with the fascination, the importance and the threat of biodiversity in nature in a new House of Biodiversity and with natural sites in the Herberstein Animal World as well as in the adjacent Feistritzklamm nature reserve. Thus a very important topic was taken up: the meaning and thus the necessity of the preservation of the diversity of species at the example of Styria.

Mobile pavilion 2023
ATMOSPHERES. Art, climate and space research.
The characteristic feature of the pavilion was the immersive video-based exhibitions, which were shown in a specially designed exhibition architecture. The projection encompassed a 30 m wide wall and its floor surface, accompanied by ambient sound in the Ambisonic system, which was developed by the Institute for Electronic Music and Acoustics at Graz University of the Arts.

SHOWING STYRIA 2021
With SHOWING STYRIA, Styria has launched a new exhibition format. The first edition of “Ausstellung des Landes” took place at four venues: “how it was” (History Museum), “how it is” (Folk Life Museum), “what will be” (Kunsthaus Graz) and “who we are” (Mobile pavilion) presented the diversity of Styria as four-parts.

who we are
The mobile pavilion was the link between SHOWING STYRIA 2021 and the regions. With its monumental video installation, it explored Styrian diversity in moving images.
