Opening: Opening: 26.02.2014, 7 p.m.

Running parallel to the exhibition Love of Maths in the Natural History Museum, this show in the Neue Galerie Graz demonstrates the connections between mathematics and art.

This is depicted with exhibits from the Alte Galerie, the cultural-historical collection and the Neue Galerie Graz, added to by loans from the manuscripts department of the Karl-Franzens University. The period covered stretches from the late Middle Ages, when for example artistically executed calendars written by hand were created, to works of the ‘New Tendencies’ in the 1960s (‘Computer art’).
