About the exhibition
The exhibition focuses on the body, which is subjected to constant "improvement" through social conventions and is shaped, trained, operated on and technically enhanced.
About the studio
From 1992 to 2010 the studioat the Neue Galerie Graz served as a platform for young Austrian artists at the beginning of their careers. This essential instrument for the promotion and presentation of young art in the Joanneumsviertel was reintroduced in 2017. Access to the studio exhibitions is free of charge.

Tues-Sun, public holidays 10am - 6pm
On October 10th and 11th, 2023, the Neue Galerie Graz will be closed due to renovation works. The studio exhibition (Ebru Kurbak), the exhibitione in the foyer (Alek Kawka), and the Natural History Museum (Walter Köstenbauer) will still be open for visitors.
