For the reopening of the art project Gartenlabyrinth by Styrian artist Hartmut Skerbisch (1945–2009) on 25 April 2026, artists Martin Behr and Martin Osterider created the project "Triester – Hommage à Hartmut Skerbisch".

Martin Behr and Martin Osterider, who have been active as artists in the Triester Neighbourhood for more than twenty years, wanted to raise the public awareness of Skerbisch’s Gartenlabyrinth with a number of different actions. Therefore, a drone was used to create a photograph from a bird’s eye view perspective (header image). This photo depicts the garden maze in ist entirety, including the star at its centre.
Advertising columns and Cultural Boards were placarded with this photograph and other pictures revolving around the Gartenlabyrinth (image to the right) to achieve better visibility.

As a further method of raising public awareness, Behr and Osterider created a series of postcards with six different motifs on the Gartenlabyrinth and the Triester Neighbourhood.

The artists‘ series of initiatives for a better level of awareness is completed by a sticker which was placed at numerous locations in the public space of Graz.

The musician and composer Josef Klammer developed a sound performance for the Dr.-Schlossar-Park called Froschquartett für 36 Spielkarten: The artwork and its surrounding area reminded him of a pond landscape segmented into 36 parts. Thus, Klammer composed 36 one-minute sonatas out of international frog calls taken from the archive of the herpetologist Walter Hödl.
