The Planetary Garden at Schloss Eggenberg is a unique venue designed by Helga Marie Tornquist and opened in 2004. This special garden is based on the Renaissance concept of planetary signatures, in which all earthly manifestations, including plants, colors and shapes, are assigned to the various planets. The garden sections in the Planetary Garden are designed according to this concept and are under the signatures of the seven classical planets. This creates a fascinating universe that presents itself in different facets throughout the seasons. The Planetary Garden is therefore not only a place of botanical diversity, but also a unique backdrop for events.
