From November, regular opening hours of 8am to 5pm will apply.

UNESCO World Heritage The 24 state rooms form an almost unadulterated work of interior art, in which the Baroque and Rococo furnishings combine to create a precious ensemble of outstanding value. The quality and extent of the preserved, authentic interiors, with more than 500 ceiling paintings, provide a unique setting for your visit to Eggenberg.

Guided tours of the State Rooms

Guided tours of the State Rooms

Visits to the State Rooms are only possible as part of a guided tour:
Tue–Sun and public holidays at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm, or by prior appointment

Individual guided tours in German, English, Italian and French for private groups (minimum 7 people) and companies can be booked by prior appointment, at least one week in advance.

Park and Gardens

Take a stroll through the park and gardens. Now Eggenberg palace is located in a huge landscaped garden dating back to the Romantic period, which is regarded among the most precious garden monuments in Austria.

Open daily: 8am-7pm.
