About the
Exhibition

This exhibition is based on the nine-month participatory project “Stories of Ageing – Exploring Living and Housing Together”. Through workshops, storytelling cafés, conversations, and university courses, a wide range of perspectives on ageing, living, and housing were developed in collaboration with project partners. The exhibition explores how people live, feel, and are perceived in the context of demographic change, offering insights into the needs, challenges, and everyday realities of an increasingly ageing society.

The exhibition focuses not only on different forms of housing, but also on the stories of those who took part in the project. Through objects, texts, and personal contributions, it also addresses movement and mobility, communication, emotional aspects of later life, and different forms of age discrimination, making individual experiences tangible.

Taken as a whole, the exhibition is conceived as an open space for reflection and experience. It reveals the complexity of ageing and invites visitors to engage in dialogue about the many ways of living and growing older.
