transborders. the exhibition was an artistic and documentary look back on the transdisciplinary festival of arts that took place at the end of August 2019 at the border region Austria-Slovenia-Hungary, following the motto "Fluxus am Fluss" (Fluxus at the river).

The exhibition showed documentary materials as well as adaptations and artefacts of the realized artistic works. An additional layer of the transborders festival displaying new content was presented in the Pavelhaus.

At the transborders festival, installations, interventions, happenings and performances took place at various public places along the river Mur and the Kutschenitza within 72 hours. The transborders artists were particularily interested in the reality at the national and cultural borders and in the ideas of borders inside people's minds. The topic of language was especially appealing to them as it is often connected to forms of discrimination in this region.

Artists: Victor Kegli, Markus Wilfling,Christian Eisenberger, René Stessl, RESANITA, Markus Waitschacher, Edith Payer, IRWIN, Ren Aldridge, Nataša Berk, Maja Smrekar und Kollektivprojekte mit Studierenden aus ganz Europa, unter anderem mit Philomena Lauprecht, Vania Geier, Tisa Neža Herlec.

Exhibition display: Studio Magic
