Music for Elevators

The music producer and conceptual artist Brian Eno is considered one of the most important in the world. In cooperation with the Institute for Art in Public Space Styria, the Elevate Festival brings the artist to Graz virtually, where he presents two audio-based projects: 77 Million Paintings and Music for Elevators both make use of the unique architecture and the 3D sound system of the Dom im Berg.

Music for Elevators is based on the work of Finnish artist Jimi Tenor and is being continued in 2021. For this purpose, both cabins of the Schlossberg lift are supplied year-round with specially created compositions by Brian Eno.
