Accessibility

Contact for accessibility inquiries

All of the exhibition areas are based on even ground to ensure that wheelchair users can access the Archaeology Museum exhibits as easily as possible. Assistance dogs are also permitted to guide you through the exhibition.

Visitors who suffer from a dust allergy will benefit from the nature of the exhibition pieces and upholstery, carpets etc. have been deliberately avoided. Children can familiarise themselves with the topic of archaeology in their own exhibition area.

The toilet areas are also fully accessible to all visitors.

A free catalogue is available in addition to the text featured alongside the exhibition pieces. It contains all of the information required. All of the exhibition items are easy to find based on a numbering system and this also helps visitors with learning difficulties. We are happy to take account of specific requirements during the tours.
