Mushrooms: Nature’s networkers
Special exhibition
29.05.2013-26.10.2014 10:00-17:00
Mushrooms play a central role in eco-systems. Mushrooms can be tasty or fatal; they can psychedelically “expand your mind” and are an essential ingredient in the production of important foodstuffs. They fascinate us with the diversity of their shapes and species.
The special exhibition at the Natural History Museum offers an insight into the magical world of mushrooms with fantastic fungal models by Lilo and Klaus Wechsler, on display here for the very first time in Austria.
