The exhibition The Blooming Language of Money showcases coins featuring images of flowers and plants from ancient Greece to the euro, as well as banknotes, and deciphers the messages contained within these depictions. Among other things, it explores the themes construction of national identities, uniqueness and independence.
The coins and banknotes on display enter into a fascinating dialogue with artworks and interventions by the artist Ryts Monet.
