Alpine barn from Niederscheibenalm in Gstatterboden in the Ennstal Valley

This barn is constructed of round logs with notched joints. It has a steep shingle-covered rafter roof and has a door on each gable side. The barn was regularly used until 1964 and provided shelter for cattle during the night and during periods of cold weather. The loft was used to store hay.
