The ground floor of this building is made of rubble and has a steeply pitched timber roof supported by a jamb wall. The groundfloor was used to store the harvested fruit and the cider casks. The cider cider press is located in the loft. The press is a spindle press which uses a spindle to raise and lower the press plate in the press cage.
