steirischer herbst

Co-operation with Kunsthaus Graz and Neue Galerie Graz

Established in 1968, the “steirischer herbst” festival is one of the world’s most renowned contemporary art platforms, presenting works from various different artistic disciplines, encouraging their production and enabling a fruitful interplay between the visual arts, music, performance, dance, theatre, literature, architecture, new media and theory.

For many years now, the traditional co-operation between Joanneum and “steirischer herbst” in the field of visual arts has worked extremely well: sensational co-productions created by Neue Galerie Graz and Kunsthaus Graz have attracted international attention.
