Santiago Sierra
Repetition of the Writing of a Phrase
Santiago Sierra's performance art addresses social and economic injustices experienced by people of migrant origin. In one of his provocative performances, he highlights the exploitation of migrant workers who often spend hours writing the sentence "I will never take a European's job." This helps to raise awareness of political and social issues and break societal taboos.
