Accessibility at the Hunting Museum Schloss Stainz
You can either explore the museums of the Schloss Stainz on your own or take part in a tour. The exhibition rooms offer plenty of space for wheelchairs. The media and audio stations are fitted with headphones. Certain items in the exhibition can also be touched e.g. fur and feathers etc. and are within easy reach.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in all of the buildings, park areas and exhibitions of the Universalmuseum Joanneum.
Pushchairs
Pushchairs are not permitted but baby carriers (front or back carrying) can be supplied at the counter.
Educational mediation and groups
We offer tours and workshops for people with disabilities – advance notification required.
In the case of groups from social organisations, we can provide access to our exhibitions at a special price.
Price for admission and tour: 3.50 €/person,
admission and tour are free for carers.
Without a group: admission cost for adults with a disability:
7 €/person, tour: 2.50 €/person, admission and tour are free to carers.
