Requests for guided tours
We are happy to receive your enquiries about our outreach activities (guided tours, children’s and family workshops, etc.) – please contact us at least one week before your preferred date.

Our visitor programmes enable you to gain an in-depth insight into the exhibition highlights at the Universalmuseum Joanneum. Specific dates of events are indicated on the calendar.
Terms and Conditions
Please note that the time and date of your visit is binding. Pre-arranged times and dates of the visit can be cancelled or changed at no extra cost up to no later than 48 hours before your scheduled visit – kindly inform us in good time. Your unreported absence causes additional expense on our part.
We are obliged to pass these costs on to you if you do not inform us of a cancellation or if you cancel late: 50 % of the invoiced amount, or, in the case of schools, a minimum sum of 25 € for each guide you have arranged. Please ensure that your group has assembled in good time at the scheduled meeting point. For logistical reasons, any delay of more than 10 minutes can lead to the guided tour or educational programme being curtailed or cancelled.
The house rules of the Universalmuseum Joanneum apply to all visits.
