An international conference as a collaboration between the Styrian Armoury, the Joanneum Museum Academy and ICOMAM

An artistic intervention in Graz’s Herrengasse aims to take up and prise open the myth of Graz as a ‘bulwark against the East’. This will raise public awareness of a long suppressed and historically scarcely discussed chapter in Styrian history. The Armoury’s own collection will play a key role in this, as a focal feature of the collective narrative.
