Spring opening event

From April 1st, 2010, the gates of the Austrian Sculpture Park are opened again. At this year’s spring opening event on April 25th, we would like to celebrate the start into the new season together with you and present two new sculptures.

The works “Tiger Stealth”, 2009 by Peter Sandbichler as well as Timm Ulrich’s “Tanzende Bäume” (Dancing Trees) 1997/2010 have found their places in the park and invite you to come and explore the Austrian Sculpture Park. On this day we will have the distinct pleasure of welcoming both artists as our guests.

 

With music, a program for children and guided tours we welcome you to join us with your family and friends.

Introduction: Elisabeth Fiedler, Head of the Austrian Sculpture Park
Opening: Bettina Vollatch, Member of the Provincial Government and Head of the Cultural Department of the Province of Styria

Program:
3 pm and 4 pm: Guided tours through the park
3 – 5 pm: Workshop for children
Music: Anush Apoyan Trio

Shuttle:
1:15 pm departure at Kunsthaus Graz
5 pm return trip starting at the Sculpture Park
