“Reading into the museum”
The museum as a space of knowledge
The museum is a storehouse and generator of knowledge. It is a venue for science, a place for knowledge of identity and orientation, and a setting for specific expertise and practical/instrumental knowledge. On the basis of the "Measuring the World" exhibition in the Kunsthaus, we will go looking for clues through collections and depots, historical sources and contemporary positions, to fathom the knowledge space of the museum in all its various facets.
