Søren Engsted & Christoph Meier - Bananasplit

As part of the opening of the Bananasplit installation, the two artists show their own favourite films in my own private cinema, and talk about their personal approaches to film, space and sculpture. 

Untitled (filmsetperformancestagefilm), 2009, is Christoph Meier’s final project at the Academy of Art in Vienna, and turns the merciless eye of the camera on an examination board as a sculptural object in space (4:20 mins). 
Straw Thoughts, 2006, is the pastel-coloured science-fiction movie chosen by Søren Engsted, in which three filmmakers, Alan Nicollaisen, Robert Kjær Clausen and Steffen Jørgensen, follow a spaceship and its crew in their quest for unimagined possibilities (13:12 mins).
