Choose your favourite spot in picnic area, lean back and enjoy our delicious food in front of the impressive backdrop of Eggenberg Castle!

There are three different picnic baskets to choose from: a traditional Styrian one with local specialities like chicken, potato salad and sheep’s cheese in sunflower oil; an Italian one, containing parmesan cheese, Parma ham and tomatoes with mozzarella cheese; and a “classic” basket with different exclusive cheeses. Each picnic basket comes with fine red and white wines, fruit and delicious desserts.
