Zur Taxonomie eines neuen Tribus von Seeschildkröten aus dem Oligozän von Deutschland (Testudines: Chelonioidea)

Abstract: New materials of Rupelian sea turtles from the Mainz Basin deposit Neumühle/Weinheim near Alzey might become described and discussed. Including this discovery are bone remains of some turtles and one tooth of a crocodile. The new tribe Rupelchelyini, which includes the new genus Rupelchelys and the species R. breitkreutzi n.sp. only, are new taxa. New turtles materials from the Doberg near Bünde in Northern Germany might become discussed too.
