The admission ticket allows a single visit within a calendar day of Alte Galerie, Archaeology Museum, Coin Cabinet and park. The state rooms of Schloss Eggenberg can only be seen via a guided tour which is not inlcuded.
To visit all Joanneum museums in Graz and Styria, we recommend purchasing a Joanneum 24-hour or 48-hour ticket as well as an Annual Ticket (valid from the time of purchase, excluding specific events and Herberstein Animal World). Participation in our programme (guided tours, workshops, a.o.) is not included and can be purchased separately at the ticket counter.
NEW
All visitors under 19 years of age can visit all Joanneum museums (excluding events which differ from regular ticket-pricing and Herberstein Animal World) free of charge. Depending on availability, this also applies to the State Rooms of Schloss Eggenberg, which are only accessible as part of a guided tour.

Free entry
People from Ukraine
Holders of a Ukrainian passport have free admission to all sites of the Universalmuseum Joanneum until further notice.
Graz Card
The Graz Card grants free entry to all sites of the Universalmuseum Joanneum in Graz and to the Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing (except exhibitions) as well as free transportation by public means of transport within the city. Visits to Eggenberg Palace and to the Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing are only possible from 1. April until 31. October.
Steiermark-Card
The Steiermark-Card grants endless free entry to our museums and exhibits from 1. April until 31. Oktober, except Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing only one free entry.
GenussCard
The GenussCard grants free entry to all our museum sites (except Schloss Trautenfels) from 1. March until 31. October.
