Zusammenfassung: Im Laufe der letzten 15-20 Jahre hat Xanthoria parietina ihr Areal im Grazer Stadtgebiet deutlich vergrößert. Diese Wiederbesiedlung weiter Bereiche von Graz ist als Indiz für eine großräumige Verbesserung der Luftqualität zu werten.

Abstract: During the last 15–20 years the areal of Xanthoria parietina in Graz has significantly increased. This recolonisation of large regions of Graz seems to be an indicator for a decreasing air pollution.
