Sarcoscypha austriaca (BECK ex SACC.) BOUD. und S. coccinea (SCOP.: FR.) LAMB. (Sarcoscyphaceae) in der Steiermark. Untersuchungen zur Verbreitung, Ökologie und Unterscheidung der beiden Arten

Zusammenfassung: Die Verbreitung, Ökologie und Morphologie von Sarcoscypha austriaca Beck ex Sacc.) Boud. und S. coccinea (Scop.: Fr.) Lamb. in der Steiermark wurden untersucht. Zu den verlässlichsten Unterscheidungsmerkmalen zählen das Keimungsverhalten der Ascosporen, die Form der Excipulum-Haare, die Reifezeit und die Form der Ascosporen. Zusätzlich werden die ersten beiden Nachweise von S. jurana (Boud.) Baral für Österreich mitgeteilt.

Summary: The distribution, ecology and morphology of Sarcoscypha austriaca (Beck ex Sacc.) BOUD. and S. coccinea (Scop.: Fr.) Lamb. in Styria (Austria) were studied. The most reliable distinctive characters are the type of germination of the ascospores, the shape of excipular hairs, the time of maturity, and the shape of ascospores. In addition, the first two records of S. jurana (Boud.) Baral in Austria are published.
